Quick start

If you are on the crew

1. Save the board's number in your phone under the board's name. Scan the flyer, or ask for the contact card.
2. Text it anything the crew needs to do. The first time, you get a reply with your own link to the board.
3. When it is done, text done and a few words, or done 12 for card 12. Or open your link and tap the card.

Useful: undo puts the last one back. Trees, or Stock, at the front, or #trouble, picks the column. Jay, at the front, tell the tree crew to, or truck 37 anywhere puts that label on the card. remind us Fri 7am … sets a time. Start with urgent to pin it to the top.

Photos work too. Texts from a number that is not on the board wait for the superintendent and do not reach the TV. Not for outages or emergencies.

If you run the board

1. Text (866) 883-0735 anything. Open the link in the reply, then Manage, then Start a shared board. Name it. It gets its own number.
2. On the manage page, add each person's name and mobile number. Nothing is sent to them; their first text to the board's number brings their link.
3. Press Create the TV link, open it on the garage TV or the office computer. See TV setup.

Also on the manage page: columns and the words that file into them, labels for people, crews and trucks, texts from unknown numbers, export, and delete. Hold a card off the TV or release one with the ⋯ menu on any card.

What the replies say

• First text: your link.
• done …: “Cleared #12: … Text UNDO to put it back.” or “No open note matches …”
• A note that looks like work data (a meter, an account, an outage, a long number): “Saved, but kept off the TV.” The superintendent can release it.
• STOP stops replies; your notes still save. START turns them back on. HELP explains.
